Taekwondo Negeri Selangor(TNS) had organised its 7th Selangor Close Taekwondo Championship 2025 on the 23rd February 2025 . The competition was held at Dewan Teratai MBSA from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. The purpose of this competition was to shortlist the best players for the SUKMA Championship of the year 2026. A total of 200 players participated. VIPs namely Encik Suhaimi (Penolong Pengarah Unit Pembangunan Bakat Murid , Sektor Pembangunan Murid , Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Selangor), Encik Amirul Firdaus (Penolong Pegawai Belia & Sukan Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor) and YB Datuk Dr Arasu (Presiden Persatuan Kukkiwon Malaysia) officiated the event.
