1st Talent Identification Camp

The 1st Talent Identification Camp was held on 22nd May, 2022 at KSL Sports Puchong, Lot 5225 Jalan Puchong Utama 4, Taman Puchong Utama, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. The training program, which was the first event event organized by TAEKWONDO NEGERI SELANGOR (WTF) to highlight the both Kyorugi & Poomsae players to understand the basic footwork & sparing techniques, current competition rules & scorings. The organizers also scheduled an open forum for audience members to register themselves, which was started at 8.30am. The training program was open to the both Kyorugi & Poomsae players, whereas 12 clubs attended the training with a total number of 160 childrens and 15 coaches from all Selangor Associate, Full-Member and Premier Clubs were in attendance The 7 hours program initiated with Training started with a welcoming speech by the Coaching Committee and Technical Chairman. Then, our TNS President established a more personal tone for the conference by highlighting the event with a word of courage to all participants. Thus, an overall atmosphere of friendly academic discourse was established at the outset. The first session was dedicated to Master Tony, Master Hemi & Navin. Master Tony trained the poomsae players, whereas Master Hemi & Navin handled the kyorugi players. They highlighted on basic footwork and sparing techniques for kyorugi players which underscored the often introspective and personal tone for the training program. The second session focused on current competition rules and scorings. All of the Presenters gave informative and diverse presentations. At the beginning of each session, participants were presented with background information and discussion questions. During the time, Training participants had the opportunity to choose among various sessions to discuss topics and develop recommendations. At the conclusion of the training program, the recommendations developed during the two sessions were presented to the entire group in attendance. Training ended at 3.30pm with a word of thanks to all those whom attended and made this training a successful event.
