The 2nd Talent Identification Camp was held on 19th June, 2022 at Dewan Serbaguna Puchong Indah, Jalan Indah 2/5, Taman Puchong Indah, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. The training program, which was the second event organized by TAEKWONDO NEGERI SELANGOR (WTF) to highlight the both Kyorugi & Poomsae players to understand the basic footwork & sparing techniques, current competition rules & scorings. The organizers also scheduled an open forum for audience members to register themselves, which started at 8.30 am. The training program was open to both Kyorugi & Poomsae players, whereas 10 clubs attended the training with a total number of 170 children and 12 coaches from all Selangor Associate, Full-Member and Premier Clubs were in attendance The 6-hour program initiated with Training started with a welcoming speech by the President with Technical Chairman. Thus, an overall atmosphere of friendly academic discourse was established at the outset. The first session was dedicated to Master Tony, Master Hemi & Sarath Ram. Master Tony trained the poomsae players, whereas Master Hemi handled the kyorugi players, assisted by Mr Sarath Ram. They highlighted basic footwork and sparing techniques for kyorugi players which underscored the often introspective and personal tone of the training program. The second session focused on current competition rules and scorings. All of the Presenters gave informative and diverse presentations. At the beginning of each session, participants were presented with background information and discussion questions. During the time, Training participants had the opportunity to choose among various sessions to discuss topics and develop recommendations. At the conclusion of the training program, the recommendations developed during the two sessions were presented to the entire group in attendance. Mr K.V Anba & Mr B. Panneerselvem from SDC KL College sponsored T-shirts for all players who attended the training. The training ended at 3.30 pm with a word of thanks to all those who attended and made this training a successful event.
